La Mata - Costa Blanca
Relax and have fun at one of Spain's most "well kept
secrets".
Our apartment is located approximately 45 minutes drive from Alicante
Airport in a little Spanish town called La Mata. La Mata is the perfect
holiday destination for families, golfers, and couples. La Mata boasts 320 days of sunshine on average a year, with the temperatures reaching 30C in July and August.
A lot of people prefer the months of April, May, June, September, October and November when the weather is more comfortable, especially if your idea of the perfect holiday is a round of GOLF!!!!!
There are several Golf courses in the area, the furthest one
being a 20 minute drive away.
(including the world famous "La Manga" Club)
There is a large, beautiful natural salt water lake which forms the "Salinas de La Mata" that surrounds La Mata.
This is an official Spanish Nature Reserve and is home to a variety of birds and wildlife.
Our nicely furnished apartment will comfortably sleep 6
persons.
It has all of the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday,
including fridge freezer, washer, tv, sun loungers and picnic
equipment.
It consists of 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and
the other with two single beds.
The lounge has a sofa that
converts to a comfortable double bed and there is also a single
pull out bed at the bottom which allows for a 7th occupant*
The apartment complex is just a few years old and has a communal
pool.
The beach is only a picturesque 5 minutes walk away down a paved
walkway which has good lighting, seating and waterfall feature.
The decked promenade stretches along the whole beach all the way
to La Mata.
The nearby beach has restaurants, bars and sunbed hire. There is
a supermarket within walking distance.
The apartment is in a residential area which isn't noisy but
several bars, a nightclub and restaurants can be found ONLY 10
minutes away.
La Mata is approximately 20 miles from both Alicante & Murcia airport.
From the
apartment, the town is a 10 minute walk along the promenade. There are
bars and restaurants en-route.
La Mata is not over-run with tourists and it still
retains it's Old Spanish Charm. It has bakeries, butchers shops,
bars, restaurants and a market.
The closest major town is Torrevieja.
*(this will bring occupancy up to maximum capacity and may
feel too overcrowded for some people)
